KSG Agro completes sowing winter rape and embarks on an autumn sowing campaign for winter crops

The farms that are part of KSG Agro Agricultural holding have completed the sowing of winter rape and begun to sow winter wheat.

In August, KSG Agro Agricultural holding completed the sowing of winter rape on a total area of 2 thousand hectares. According to Sergiy Kasianov, Chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro, favorable weather conditions for this crop contributed to the successful sowing campaign of winter rape.
Having completed the sowing of winter rape in August, this September the holding’s enterprises started sowing winter wheat. It is planned to sow 6.5 thousand ha with this crop. “We hope that the weather will contribute to the successful sowing campaign of winter wheat,” said Sergiy Kasianov, “So far we characterize the weather conditions as normal, however, there is not enough moisture for this crop. However, we hope for autumn rains and snowy winters, which in the future will contribute to a high yield of winter wheat.”
