In July 2019, KSG Agro agricultural holding commissioned a new manure separation station at the pig farm in Niva Trudovaya, which is managed by LLC Rantye. Its capacity is 70 m3 of manure per hour, which allows processing up to 420 thousand m3 of manure per year. Processing of manure is carried out on solid and liquid fractions.
“If earlier manure was taken out and brought into the fields in an unprepared form, which required a lot of resources, now, after launching a new separation station, the enterprise has the ability to control the process and optimize the technology of applying this organic fertilizer,” comments Sergiy Kasianov, Chairman of the Board of Directors at KSG Agro., Solid fraction is brought out to the fields where its application is less labor-intensive and more efficient. The clarified effluents purified from the solid fraction – the liquid fraction – are pumped to biological facilities, where after biological treatment (for up to six months) they can be used for field irrigation”.
According to Sergiy Kasianov, CRI-MAN (Italy) equipment worth 2.1 million UAH was purchased for the separation station. Moreover, the total investment in the facility amounted to 5.5 million UAH.
The commissioned station will improve the state of the environment at the location of the pig complex, and the crop production companies of the agricultural holding will be able to improve crop yields after the introduction of processed manure
